Hazard Communication Online Training

Posted on by

iWorkWise has produced this online training as an introduction to hazard communication, hazards that chemicals may present, and how to use Safety Data Sheets and labels to get information about chemicals in the workplace.

Employees have the right to know about chemicals in their workplace and how those chemicals may be harmful. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that all employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplaces have labels and safety data sheets for their exposed workers, inform them about the chemical hazards, and train them to handle the chemicals appropriately.

You can register for online classes here.

Confined Space Awareness Course

Posted on by

iWorkWise has produced a confined space awareness level course to provide an introduction to the hazards of confined spaces. Most workers who die in confined spaces do so because they don’t recognize or control the hazards. An awareness level person needs to be able to recognize a confined space when they see one, understand the potential dangers, and know what to do when they encounter a confined space.

There is one death in a confined space every four days.
